Forum: etree Subject: upload went to the wrong place how do i move from open source to live music archive?

I just uploaded a new btf show and for some reason it just went to open source audio instead of the live music archive. is there any way to get it listed in the live music archive where it belongs. The show is here

http://www.archive.org/details/btf2009-01-30.btf.2009.01.30

I have no idea what I did wrong as I followed the instructions and filled out everything I could. I dont understand why it put the dir name twice either?? Thanks so much in advance.

Neil

Neil - this is fixed now, but there was one more tiny thing to fix - your md5 contained a checksum for your txt file. For some reason the system chokes on that, so just make sure you don't do that in the future. Other than that, you should be good to go within an hour or so.

Thank you so much for your help. I noticed when I browse by date on btf's page there is no 2009 yet. Other than that things look ok. I am sorry for all the issues I caused. I know how much work you guys do to keep this place clean and running smooth! I really do appreciate it.

My only question is what did I do wrong when I uploaded to cause it to dump into open_source instead of etree? I clicked on the link to upload to live music archive.

Anyway, I do appreciate all the help. Does the system require me to re-create an md5 and replace or can the md5 just be edited and remove the .txt file?

Yeah, the yearly indexes update overnight, I think...if it's still not fixed tomorrow, post back and I'll look into it.

Hard to say, I'm afraid. May have just been an incorrect selection at the drop-down menu screen after you finished uploading, but I'm not sure where to begin looking in the logs to find out...or if I could even find anything there. :) The good news is that it's fixable and has been done!

I edited the md5 for you since we admins have a tool that lets us do that. So you shouldn't have to do anything else as long as it looks ok tomorrow morning...
